Ridgewood NJ, according to the Ridgewood Police Department ,Grove Street will be closed Wednesday 6/18/25 from 8AM to 4PM for utility work. Traffic is detoured between Prospect Street and S.Van Dien Avenue , expect delays in the area and plan an alternate route if possible.

Thanks for the info. Why is this too much effort for the village to inform us? I signed up for emergency text. Paramus does a great job. Advising road closures due to construction, accidents, expected delays.
Why wasn’t this closure properly planned? if not an emergency? Again no notifications from Ridgewood management.
Just Plan an alternate route IF POSSIBLE! A bottleneck. The day before a Fed Holiday.
