Hackensack NJ, Hackensack Fire fighters ended the year by logging in a busy month December 30th , 350 prospect avenue 2nd alarm fire. Fire was on the number 5 floor. Fire was knocked down by Engine 2. All searches are negative. Englewood and Teaneck fire departments assisted at the scene along with Hackensack UMC BLS . No reported injuries. Fire is currently under investigation.
December 20th , Hackensack Engines 2 , 5 Rescue 1 & Safety responded to Summit and Central for a fire in the engine compartment of a NJ Transit bus. Companies quickly extinguish the fire. All occupants of the bus self-extricated. No reported injuries.
December 10th , Hackensack Engine 1, Rescue 1 and Deputy 2 responded to South River and Broadway for a fire in the engine compartment of a truck .Fire was quickly knocked down companies overhauled no reported injuries.
