Hackensack NJ, on Saturday, City of Hackensack Fire Engine 1, Engine 2, Rescue 1, and Deputy 3 responded to a reported motorcycle-automobile accident on Route 80 West, just before exit 64B.
Upon arrival, firefighters quickly provided first aid to the motorcyclist involved in the crash, stabilizing the individual until the arrival of Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) teams from Hackensack University Medical Center. The patient was then carefully packaged for transport to the medical center for further treatment.
Firefighters remained on-site until the motorcycle was removed by a tow truck, ensuring the area was safe and clear for traffic. The New Jersey State Police were also on hand, conducting an investigation into the accident.
