Hackensack Meridian Health Now Requires Proof of Vaccination or a Negative COVID-19 test Result will be Required to Visit Patients

Hackensack NJ, As of December 28, 2021, all visitors to inpatient units at Hackensack Meridian Health must show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID PCR or antigen test result (within 72 hours). Home tests will not be accepted as they cannot be validated. Special exceptions will be made for end-of-life care, labor & delivery, emergency room care, pediatrics and other circumstances.

Acceptable forms of proof are:

Vaccination Card (hard copy)

MyChart Digital Vaccine Card

CLEAR digital vaccine card

Docket App

NY State Excelsior Pass

NYC Covid Safe App

Please note: A paper photocopy of a vaccination card is not an acceptable form of proof.

  1. I’m going to be having surgery in February 23,2021 and I was wondering if they are doing surgeries on knee replacement. I’m hoping they are still doing them.

  2. What about every other virus amd transmitable illness? Why not require proof for them? Or have they all just disappeared.

  6. All ridgewood employees should be tested for Covid-19’. And not just the rapid, because that’s a 50/50 . Send it too the lab.
