At 6 AM, the department was dispatched to a garbage truck fire. Upon arrival, Chiefs 61 and 62 assessed the situation and found that the truck’s load had ignited while still inside the vehicle. To prevent further damage, the crew acted quickly, dumping the flaming contents onto the street.
