Ridgewood NJ, Click Here for the Quarterly Health Barn Report.  The report is divided into a couple of sections.  On-site programs are delineated in the first section including number of students and percentage of Ridgewood students.

Section 2 speaks to field trip visits.  The details of these are in the separately attached bus report.

The third section details capital investments that Health Barn has made at Habernickel.  Health Barn has already exceeded its $60,000 capital commitment.

The fourth section lists other community outreach, partnerships and sponsorships.

And, finally the fifth section speaks to any relevant issues.

  1. This sounds expense to me – i.e. Expense that we (the village) will have to pay:

    Relevant Issues:
    1) Air conditioning at Habernickel needs repair – in progress.
    2) Baseball parking in our private driveway and filling rear lot parking during travel season.
    3) Flooring in office suite needs repair due to plumbing issue.
    4) Neighbors unfairly targeting our programs for noise, idling, parking and neighborhood
disruption continuously which is impacting our ability to conduct business.
    5) Weekly garbage pick-up is not consistent.

Also, why isn’t village charging them for parking upto 2 busses at Graydon? Their lease only allows them to park @ 12 spots at the property. For any additional parking they should pay us.

How much time Tim is spending there with Tracy and her team and who is paying for this time?

Lastly, how do they have 10% students from Ridgewood, for a class size of 6? How on earth are they calculating 10% of 6 as ONE CHILD?

  2. Please, no more photos of the 3 stooges.

  3. If it is a for profit business, why do they get Ridgewood garbage pickup? They certainly generate more waste than a household of people. Also, do they recycle? I would certainly assume so.

  4. Been 10 days and the new Council still hasn’t challenged Valley’s “not for profit” status… What are they waiting for?

    1. there has not even been a council meeting yet lol

  5. Funny how the neighbors were told NO busses at the first meeting, then just small school busses…the report shows all kinds of busses including chartered busses…sounds like quite a BUSINESS for a small park. Where are the quarterly reports of revenue? Ridgewood should be getting something for this to help offset the usage of our park and parking lots and so forth?

what exactly is the partnership here?

Also, neighbors were told that the business would not exceed 25 children…looks like quite a bit more to me.

Seems like a sweet deal for Healthbarn and Stacy

Who is looking out for Ridgewood?????

  6. “The third section details capital investments that Health Barn has made at Habernickel. Health Barn has already exceeded its $60,000 capital commitment.”

ZERO FACTS to support this statement, and despite numerous e-mail requests made to Village Manager Roberta Sonenfeld for backup details, NO INFORMATION HAS BEEN PROVIDED TO DATE.

In fact, in response to several e-mails from residents, Sonefeld replied in writing that “Stacey Antine is currently out of the country . . . ” (i.e., currently unable to provide the requested details) – however, within hours of Sonefeld’s e-mail being sent, Ms. Antine was observed walking to her car at 1057 Hillcrest Road, Ridgewood, NJ USA. Huh?

Leading many residents to wonder if the ” . . . already exceeded its $60,000 capital commitment” is a BOGUS statement (i.e., a lie).
