House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz began the impeachment process against IRS Commissioner John Koskinen Tuesday, accusing him of misleading the public and destroying documents that were being sought under a congressional subpoena.

It’s the latest move in the battle over tea party targeting at the tax agency, and comes less than a week after the Justice Department issued a report finding no criminal behavior in the IRS’s decision to subject conservative groups to intrusive scrutiny.

  1. This is the biggest scandal in the history of our country.
A federal agency illegally targeted specific groups to suppress free speech prior to a. Presidential election.
The mainstream press looks the other way…
    Incredible.
The truth will eventually reveal itself as there were so many individuals involved in this regrettable action and subsequent cover up.
    God Bless America

  2. This may be or not a scandal, but to foolishly state the biggest in in history does not know history to well.
    .

  3. …and so the spin begins

  4. I stated in the history of our country… Not in history
The moral fiber of our country is crumbling due to the liberal partiality of our supposed free press.

  5. Possibly stealing a Presidential election by repressing free speech in the 21st century under the noses of the silent media qualifies as the biggest in our country’s history especially when you consider the permanent damage inflicted to our economy and spirit under the Obama administration over the last 7 years.
