  1. The most confusing misunderstood foolish law in NJ is respect to hollow points.
They are NOT armor piercing (no civilian should have armor piercing)
Legal owners are permitted to own hollow points which simply expand upon impact .

    1. We in Federal LE spent more time fighting to do our jobs than actually doing them.

      We learned early on………………………………..

The purpose of the Federal Government is to create the illusion of fevered action while actually accomplishing nothing. Have a dog or pony you need to put to work? I know where to go………………

  2. It’s “loaded” language, loose and loosely-used for propaganda purposed, akin to “assault weapon”.

    1. That’s right, the article doesn’t say if the weapon had a defaced serial number or was a home manufactured weapon.

FWIW, you can buy all of the parts, but it takes a lot of skill and tools to put together a weapon that will work.

This is just the latest thing in the narrative: cop killer bullets, Saturday night specials, assault weapons, ghost guns.

For some reason the narrative does not mention the failure to enforce the existing laws, which cover just about everything. But then, of course, these proponents know all about criminals due to their vast experience of never having laid their hands on anybody………….

  3. So why would any civilian have a need for hollow point bullets in the first place let alone armor piercing bullets?

    1. Which indicates that you have no knowledge about things you talk about.

  4. Because we don’t trust our own govt!

    1. Newsflash- all the hollow points and ap bullets in the world cannot protect you from your government. They spent the last 20 years and trillions of dollars learning how to fight insurgencies, and got pretty damn good at it. (In countries that they don’t even speak the language, no less.) You and all your buddies playing dress-up with your guns vs. one APC: how do you think it’d turn out?

“We need our guns to protect us from tyranny!” is just a man-child’s power fantasy. Grow up. The only way to protect against tyranny is to NOT VOTE FOR TYRANTS.

  5. Meanwhile, leftist city governments ban stop and frisk which was highly effective in getting guns out of neighborhoods where the vast majority of gun murders take place.
