Glen Rock NJ, A BMW SUV slid off of Harristown Road in Glen Rock on Friday, 01/05 and crashed through a fence. No injuries were reported by the vehicle’s adult male driver. Glen Rock Police responded. The seemingly undamaged BMW was removed from its predicament by a hydraulic lift tow truck.
Icy road conditions AND unsafe speed.
I live in Glenrock and the DPW has been deployed late in every storm so for this year what is going on they should be out as soon as it starts snowing. Not three hours later. I live on rock Road so don’t tell me any kind of bullshit stories. I’m sick and tired of it. This is all about paying employees overtime. If it’s during the week from 7 to 4 and salt trucks out. If it’s after 4 o’clock and weekends you’ll see in three hours later. So the mayor and council and everybody else is bullshiters, thank you Glenrock taxpayer 48 years. ……..
It’s 10° out salt trucks should be treating the roads throughout the weekend “ To prevent this from happening.
Was the driver cited?
I drove from Ridgewood to Montvale on Friday morning…I went through 6 towns to get to my destination.
Not a single road was treated with sand or salt….
That’s stupid…
Salt is not effective in low temperatures.
Do any of those town have big frozen leaf piles on display or is that exclusive to Ridgewood?
Put the damn salt trucks out, enough already. I listen to my scanner. I exactly know who when and where.
