Englewood Clioffs NJ, a stabbing incident that occurred on Friday evening is currently under investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Major Crimes Unit and the Englewood Cliffs Police Department, according to Prosecutor Mark Musella.
The county unit was alerted on Saturday that the Englewood Cliffs Police Department had responded to a stabbing on Sylvan Avenue at 5:34 p.m. the previous day. Upon arrival, officers found a 30-year-old victim who was subsequently transported to Hackensack University Medical Center. The victim received treatment and was later released.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office is now leading an investigation to identify the suspect, who fled the scene after the incident.
As of Saturday, no further details regarding the incident or the victim have been made available.
