An Observed Holiday is when a public federal holiday is celebrated on a date that is not the actual event’s anniversary date. This year some students, and staff in New Jersey have delayed openings Monday after Super Bowl.
The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs went head to head in Super Bowl 57 on Sunday.In a nailbiter at the end of the fourth quarter, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 38-35 on Sunday to win Super Bowl LVII. The game, which aired on Fox, took place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
This year some New Jersey towns are letting their residents enjoy the fun a bit longer after Super Bowl Sunday.. City-run buildings in Atlantic City will open two hours later than usual on Monday at 10:30 a.m. due to the Super Bowl and school aged football fans in Gloucester City will also have the chance to stay up late and enjoy the game. The city announced schools will have a two-hour delayed opening on Monday. The superintendent said he feels it’s important to give students and staff time to enjoy the game with their families and come back to school well-rested and safe. Humm maybe they are really onto something with this late start initiative in Ridgewood ?
