Id say its better than average chance the anti-valley comments are from the same poster. Everyone I know in town (all long time residents) support some sort of valley expansion in order to remain viable and have been totally turned off by the anti valley crusade. I suppose the one way to find out is to put it up for a referendum and the popular vote will give you the answer, not some blog.

This is a Comcast Cable Communications Holdings, Inc IP . Comcast does not operate in North Jersey .

Just to get the Poster up to speed Valley has said “NO” to the idea of a referendum , because one would suspect they would lose .

The only people in town who favor this expansion are people with some direct financial interest in the hospital . Apparently your neighbors in Jersey City are alone in their support for Valley.

This is the same ill conceived plan that after a very long series of hearings by the previous Village Council was resoundingly rejected .

The augments made the second time around are even more ridiculous that the first time , and been a total embarrassment to both the hospital and the quality people who work there.

And finally the only reason for this fiasco to continue is because the hospital tried to bully and steam roll the Village in the first place instead of being a good neighbor and getting it done the right way .

So now all that’s left is a partisan politician trying to justify the expansion and looking for sizable donations for his next campaign for higher office

Bad plan .bad management , bad execution  and a bad neighbor

  1. This not a referendum issue….. to do so, we would never get anything done..

  2. So True: “Bad plan .bad management , bad execution and a bad neighbor”

I think we can all agree on a Valley Expansion…at their Paramus location. Ridgewood, can not afford this expansion of a non tax payer

  3. #1 — it should be a referendum issue — its important enough because its another nail in the coffin of ridgewood as a unique place to leave.

What nonsense to suggest that there is only one person out there contributing to this blog. Not enough people are speaking up, that’s true, but so many people are against this stupid monstronsity its ridiculous for Valley’s PR machine to suggest otherwise.

  4. Too bad because it should be. All they have to do is come up with a plan that makes sense for the majority instead of the minority. They are still working under the “greed is good” philosophy.

And as for the first comment, I’ve lived here for 30 plus years and he/she obviously doesn’t know the same people I do, and I’m including those who once lived here. The last thing Valley wants is this put up for a referendum.

  5. Solicit, not elicit.

  6. I’ve had enough of Valley and their ridiculous expansion plans for Ridgewood, Seems that NO means keep the same plans t but make sure their majority of people are in place for the plans to be approved. If they get another No, will we see them 3 years from now with another same proposal?

Valley, should have begun renewing within many years ago. Now HPV is finished and they are SOL. Poor Valley? No, shame on Valley, they have themselves to blame…don’t blame Ridgewood for doing the right thing and preventing this over expansion! I agree, with the other bloggers, build in Paramus.

Soon many of us with non life threatening issues will be traveling 7 minutes further to the HPV location. Keep it up Valley and you will lose your base of patients! Not a threat, just a warning!!

  7. Id say its better than average chance the pro-valley comments are from the same poster. Everyone I know in town (all long time residents) don’t support the valley expansion and have been totally turned off by the pro valley crusade.

  8. If it’s a “crusade” it certainly does not have a large number of crusaders.

  9. Yeah, Megan Frazier
