Ridgewood NJ, it’s Micale and Dani for Ridgewood Board of Education . The teachers union push clearly made an impact , taking out current Board of Education President Mike Lembo , but Trustee Saurabh Dani held on to retain his seat.

Where are these numbers coming from ? Bergen County Clerk’s office is different (still Micale and Dani but much closer between Dani and Julie). Votes are still being counted.

Why anyone would vote for Lembo is a mystery
Thank goodness the Parental Rights block lost, and they got the least amounts of votes. Nice to see the voters in Ridgewood recognized the danger letting a Moms for Liberty connected ticket represented.
Hopefully the same happens next year with the counsel.. Pee Wee’s Got to go
for PeeWee to lose – the new slate should be announced soon – and some serious fundraising efforts have to start – May be bake sales every weekend in front of his restaurant to raise money to defeat him in November?

Let’s not draw too hasty a conclusion with unknown numbers of mail-in ballots uncounted. The Village website shows PRELIMINARY results.
I won’t be surprised if Julie M surpasses Dani via mail. Seen this before.
My 3 sons did not put their ballots in the mail until Monday. That would be 3 more votes for Dani.
And why would you assume that the distribution of votes still uncounted favored one candidate over another? That’s not how things work. The remaining uncounted ballots likely represent votes across candidates. SMH.

I smell sore losers stuck in denial. Dani won!
So happy that Dani will again be in the role that he is very well suited for. I don’t know Micale at all. She came across very aggressive at previous BOE meetings and again in the debate. She is not representing a law firm anymore and should 100% recuse herself regarding the new teacher contracts. Would be unethical to be endorsed and then vote, right?
