  1. The town of Paramus has no idea what they signed up for here. They’re about to get an education.

  2. @Anonymous

Paramus is about to get a state-of-the-art medical facility. Ridgewood was FOOLISH for letting this gem go to Paramus!

  3. Valley would already be on their first renovation of this facility had they had the sense not to try to cram it onto their Van Dien campus. They fought for 10 years and lost. Someone else’s problem now.

  5. I’ll drive the 3 minutes to Paramus to get to Valley (actually, I’ll probably go into NYC for anything serious). They used our services, infrastructure, etc without paying for them. Their proposed upgrade was just too big for the Ridgewood campus. They move to Paramus is a good one for everyone.

  6. Last I checked, there is free movement between Ridgewood and Paramus.

A supposed “non-profit” that didn’t pay property taxes.

I am glad they left and at the end of the day we get a new hospital without any of the mooching- all for an incremental three minute drive.

  7. Just wait….see what is proposed for the current Valley footprint

  8. Oh then what they signed up for, they live in Paramus. So far they’re getting a lot of donations just from Valley Hospital, Declan I get a lot of money from the county and the state because they all have a very good rapport. They all sleep in the same bed. Paramus is getting fairy very political.
