Ridgewood NJ, Did you know that close to 40+M that’s proposed to be spent on HVAC at Ridgewood Schools:
1. Does NOT include air conditioning, it’s ONLY for heating systems.
2. Does NOT guarantee fixing of the uneven temperature in different sections of a school. The administration considers that as a personal preference that some people feel hot and some people feel cold.
3. It does not add heating to any place that currently is missing heating systems.
I.e. this is proposed to be spent on working systems as preventative measure against possible failures due to old age of the system. (To upgrade all schools at once, except high school, as it is said that high school heating systems were already upgraded during last referendum, and are already state of the art).
I mention this here because some supporters of the plan to fix HVAC during high school facility your were unaware that this plan does not include fixing uneven temperature issues at high school and AC in gym (infact the administration and the architect denied any claims that the temperature is uneven at the high school). Making sure the expectation of “my kids will spend 7 hours in comfortable environment are set right”.
All that money and no air-conditioning somethings wrong. You would think it’s 2020 all schools should have air-conditioning in. Schools
We spend money wisely… on the “woke” socialist indoctrination agenda.
We don’t waste money on things like Air Conditioning.
If Saurabh Dani can figure out a way to keep my whole family comfortable with the temperature in our house then he is a genius!!!
Come on, let’s get realistic, if we can’t get our families to agree on the right temperature in our houses that were built in the 1930’s – 2019 how on earth does he think a 20K+ sq foot building is going to keep thousands of people perfectly comfortable each and every day?????
Like my grandma said – Dress in layers and stop your complaining
