Ridgewood NJ, a juvenile bicyclist declined medical treatment after a collision with a passenger vehicle late Monday afternoon at the intersection of Cottage Place and Franklin Avenue in Ridgewood.
First Responders Act Quickly
Ridgewood Police Department and Ridgewood Fire Department/EMS swiftly arrived on the scene to assess the situation. According to officials, the young cyclist was evaluated but ultimately refused further medical attention.
No serious injuries were reported, and the driver of the passenger vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Local Units Involved
Members of Ridgewood Professional Firefighters FMBA Local 47 also responded to ensure safety and assist in traffic control while emergency services operated in the area.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation by Ridgewood Police.

it is only a matter of time before some kid gets killed or scrambles their brain in town on one of those e bikes.
I see kids going 35mph double riding with no helmets on the wrong side of the street in my neighborhood almost daily. No bueno.
