Kensington Assisted Living Facility on N. Maple Avenue Meeting Postponed

Ridgewood NJ, as per the Village of Ridgewood, In light of the scheduled Somerville and Willard Schools’ “Back to School Nights,” and with a limited time period for the potential applicant and professional staff to prepare and review any revised plans, the community meeting regarding the assisted living facility on N. Maple Avenue, which was proposed for Thursday, September 4, will be postponed until a later date, at the request of Kensington.

Notification of a new date will be provided once set, and no formal action will be taken until that time.

The council said this was a done deal ..until over 100 people showed up at the meeting…they realized they couldn’t sneak this in…..now they are going back to the developer who will slightly cut back on the number of units. I suspect their original proposal was so outlandish they knew it would not be approved so now they will scale it back and say look we cut back….just say no to this crazy location. If can’t fit there and doesn’t belong there….
