Let’s Play Where’s Roberta
the staff of the Ridgewood blog
Ridgewood NJ, the above Picture is taken near the Exxon station which we know would have been an ideal spot for a parking garage.
Confirmed the station is closing next week.
So, this picture shows; Street light near La Bocca is on 24 hours a day. ( Also one down the block)
Small traffic cone across from the barber shop. That used to be a lamp post. Older gentleman hit it in December. When someone complained to the town it looked like it was falling down, lamp post was removed. 10 months and not replaced? Surprised no one has stolen the cone.
Traffic sign near the Woof-Furry, completely bent. Street sign pole to the right of that, leaning precariously.
So, how do we get these fixed??
Roberta sold the scrap metal to help pay for the parking garage.
Is this intersection “dangerous” because of the missing street light? It is not a high crime area, is it?
Those lights are mostly decorative. They do not help drivers and pedestrians.
Why all of the drama…?
Send her an e-mail and it will get resolved in 24 hours.
Its NOT an ideal spot for a garage…Hudson street is the spot and everyone knows that but you…sure lets plop a parking garage that you won’t be able to get in or out of smack in the middle of garber square.
Ever hear of whole foods?
That what you get when you have a 0% municipal property tax increases. The schools are good the town is falling apart.
The ideal spot for a parking garage is Ken Smith’s property. NJ Transit was willing to build one there years ago, but someone at Village Hall said no.
Send her an email? Are you kidding? She will forward it to Don Delzio asap.
“Send her an email? Are you kidding? She will forward it to Don Delzio asap.” I can’t believe she did that! I guess thats what they do in the private sector.
Yes your right 4:49 but if the village buys the land the taxpayers get stuck with the price and its taken off the tax rolls. A loose loose.
Hey Roberta since you read and post on this bog I have a question. Who the hell illegal dumped the concrete at the leaf dump? Who are you protecting. How much was the fine and what did it cost us to remove it? Ho you cay the County clean it up. Well we pay county taxes so we are still on the hook. Was it a member of your inter circle? Is this they way they do it in the private sector? It not going away. The cover up is worse then the crime.
