Ridgewood NJ, Thanksgiving Day is here, and if you’re anything like us, there’s always that one forgotten ingredient or last-minute craving to grab. Thankfully, many New Jersey grocery stores have your back with adjusted hours to help you prepare. Whether you’re grabbing an extra pie, fresh herbs, or that one essential you forgot to add to the list here’s your guide to grocery store hours for Thanksgiving Day and the days leading up to it.
Grocery Stores OPEN on Thanksgiving Day 2024
If you need to make a quick grocery run, these stores are open but with modified hours:
- ACME: Select locations are open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Many others will be closed, so be sure to call ahead.
- Foodtown: Most locations are open, but hours vary by store. Contact your local Foodtown before heading out.
- Kings Food Markets: Open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- ShopRite: Operating on regular hours for Thanksgiving Day.
- Stew Leonard’s: Open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. For early birds, they have extended hours from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, and Wednesday, November 27.
- Stop & Shop: Open with regular hours.
- Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace: Open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Early shoppers can take advantage of extended hours 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Monday to Wednesday.
- Wegmans: Closing early at 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Operating on normal hours throughout the rest of the week.
- Whole Foods: Open on Thanksgiving Day with modified hours, typically 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call your local store for specifics. They’re open late (until 10 p.m.) on Tuesday and Wednesday for pre-holiday prep.
