Lodi NJ, The Lodi School District is grieving the loss of a high school senior who tragically lost their life in a car accident early Sunday morning.
District Offers Support to Students & Families
Superintendent Frank D’Amico issued a statement offering resources and guidance to help students and families cope with the heartbreaking news.
“We are prepared to address such reactions with assistance from our Lodi Public Schools District Crisis Response Team, composed of professionals trained to help our entire school community during difficult times such as this,” said D’Amico.
The Crisis Response Team was present at school on Monday, providing students with counseling and emotional support. Additionally, the district shared a grief resources folder to help parents navigate conversations with children experiencing loss.
Details of the Accident
The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office reported that the crash occurred just after midnight on Sunday at the intersection of Lakeview and Crooks Avenues in Clifton. While authorities have not released the victim’s name, the loss has deeply impacted the Lodi High School community.

Superintendent D’Amico expressed condolences to the victim’s loved ones, stating:
“We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the student’s family and close friends and ask that you join us in respecting their privacy during this difficult time.”
