Mahwah Convenience Store holdup Man Arrested and Charged

Mahwah NJ,  according to Mahwah police , an Airmont, New York man faces four charges after an armed robbery at a Mahwah convenience store.


Mahwah Police responded to Bolla Market on December 10th at 8:20 p.m. on reports of an armed robbery. The suspect, later identified as Giacomio Frascone, had fled the scene. An investigation revealed that Frascone approached an employee at the service counter, flashed a gun in his waistband and demanded cash. The employee emptied the cash drawer and Frascone fled with over $1,000.

Frascone was located on December 13th with assistance from the Ramapo police department in New York state. He was arrested and charged with the following: robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes to use against another and theft.

Police sources say Frascone was lodged in the Rockland County Jail pending extradition to Bergen County.
