Bronx Man Attacks Door Dash Employee with Knife in Fair Lawn

Fair Lawn NJ, the Fair Lawn Police Department 2/27/24 – 7:46 pm – Aggravated Assault: P.O. Bradley Pindyck, P.O. John Rovetto, P.O. Brandon Loaiza, P.O. Salvatore Marotta, and Detective Justin DiGuglielmo responded to Door Dash, 15-01 Pollitt Drive Suite 3 and arrested Jermaine A. White, age 36 of Bronx, NY, after he threatened an employee and lunged at him with a knife. He was transported to the Bergen County Jail after being charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and unlawful possession of a weapon. The victim sustained no injuries.

Perth Amboy NJ, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Lawrence Cattano of the Perth Amboy Police Department announced today that a juvenile male has been taken into custody and charged with an act of juvenile delinquency for offenses which if committed by an adult would constitute Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon on School Property, and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.

Paramus NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of HECTOR WILLIAM ALAMEDA (DOB: 11/03/1985; single; warehouse worker) of 181 Clinton Street, Apartment 1, Paterson, NJ on charges of Attempted Sexual Assault, Aggravated Assault On A Police Officer, Unlawful Possession Of A Weapon, Possession Of A Weapon For An Unlawful Purpose, and Criminal Sexual Contact. The arrest is the result of a joint investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the Paramus Police Department under the direction of Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg.

Ridgewood Resident Changed with unlawful possession of a weapon

Ridgewood Nj, Ridgewood Police report that on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 Patrolman Michael McDermott stopped a motor vehicle bearing Maryland registration on South Broad Street after observing several motor vehicle violations.

Subsequent to the stop the operator, Santos German Vasquez (37) of Ridgewood was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, 2C:39-5d as well as several motor vehicle summons. Mr. Vasquez was released on $2000 bail pending a court appearance.

All defendants are considered to be innocent until found guilty by a court of law.
