Kwok, accused of defrauding thousands of online followers of over $1 billion, had acquired the mansion in December 2021 for $26 million, marking the most expensive home sale in New Jersey that year.
In 2023, federal authorities seized the estate as part of their investigation, alongside other assets, including a Bösendorfer grand piano, luxury sports cars, and hundreds of millions in funds.
Kwok’s trial culminated in July 2024, with a jury convicting him on nine counts of fraud and conspiracy, while acquitting him on three others.
