Was it gross incompetence by officials, or an attempt to disenfranchise voters ? Exactly what happened in Mercer County remains uncertain. Mercer County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public meeting on Monday November 21st and there is sure to see a lot of questions .In the aftermath of voting machine fiasco on Election Day, Mercer County election officials went to court to make sure “all votes are counted.”
Mercer County Superior Court Judge William Anklowitz granted an order to allow for the storage compartments of the voting machines to be opened . The order came a day after Mercer County election officials called for an investigation into widespread scanning problems on Election Day that forced voters to fill out paper ballots as a backup. Ballots in a handful of precincts in the county were also reportedly missing.
“Out of an abundance of caution the superintendent and board would like to go in to open all of the tabulator storage compartments that have both a main compartment and an emergency ballot compartment to ensure that any votes cast during the Nov. 8, 2022 general election have been collected and to make sure none are inadvertently left in those compartments,” Deputy Attorney General George Cohen said at the emergency hearing on behalf of the elections board and superintendent.
So where is the “Media” in all this and all those organizations like the NAACP that always claim to be speaking up for the down trodden, oh that’s right to busy promoting the fake news agenda.
