Ridgewood NJ, Senator Michael Testa slammed the Murphy administration’s continued threats to school districts that refuse to implement controversial new sex education standards imposed by the State Board of Education.
“The revelations in the story regarding the Murphy administration’s iron fist over their ludicrous sex education standards for 8 and 9 year olds with threatening local school aid is outrageous and contemptible,” said Testa (R-1). “These threats are another piece of evidence supporting the need for passage of my Parents Bill of Rights introduced earlier this year. It is unconscionable to me that the government should use its financial power, derived from taxpayer dollars, to force local school districts to do something that parents and educators themselves don’t want.”
Districts that fail to comply with the new sex education standards could face severe punishment for noncompliance including loss of local control, monitoring by the state and, in certain cases, loss of state aid.
Parents who do not want their children exposed to the new curriculum will be required to write a formal letter to the school principal explaining how the lessons conflict with their moral or religious beliefs. If parents do not write the letter and hold their children out of school, it may be considered an unexcused absence.
“We have seen that the NJEA considers concerned parents to be extremists, and the Biden administration considers them to be something akin to domestic terrorists,” Testa added. “The Murphy administration seems to be pandering to the far left in hopes of a political future for their boss.”
God bless the heroic parents not subjecting their children to any degradations and perversions of government schooling.

They are concerned in whatever direction will enhance their political careers with the rich and STUPID voters
They’re not concerned because they are 100% on board with these gr00ming standards

Answer me this..who in their right mind would pay a BOE budget of over 100 million dollars a year and subject their CHILDREN to this indoctrination? Who?
