N.J. gets poor marks in emergency preparedness
New Jersey flunks in the category of emergency preparedness and response, according to a recent report. Yet experiences make us feel we’ve coped pretty darn well with the things nature throws at us. After all, lately we’ve dealt with severe flu outbreaks, whooping cough, West Nile Virus, blizzards, hurricanes, and Superstorm Sandy. Quigley, Jersey Journal
