When Covid hit in March of 2020, many people turned their thoughts toward enhancing the comfort of their homes.  Home equals sanctuary.  Sanctuary equals peace and safety, and peace and safety equal wellness.  Founded in 2021 by Lauren Imbruglia, Deeply Rooted is bringing the ideas of sanctuary, peace, safety and wellness to their community members by inspiring local customers to start or cultivate home sanctuaries of their own. Lauren is the mom of 3 adult children and 2 bulldogs.  Slowly and surely, she added plant mom to her title!  She wanted to help her husband breathe better after his Covid experience and knowing that plants bring more oxygen into our home spaces, more beautiful greenery was added to the household.  Our main goal here is helping you make your spaces more serene and healthy, through the use of indoor plants, small trees, succulents and beautiful and fun plant care items. We believe in creating a more sustainable earth for everyone and encourage everyone to add a little green to their lives. Our team is more than happy to help with plant selection and general advice. We’re here to help your plants thrive. Overwhelmed? Remember, all you need to get started is a single plant.

  1. Well this explains it. Because she’s a terrible French teacher and she’s absolutely awful with kids so I guess it makes sense she’d move on to plants. Hopefully she sticks with that. Can’t help but feel sorry for the plants

    1. Wow…. too bad you posted anonymously. It’s so easy to make statements like this, anonymously, behind a keyboard.

  2. Another dodo who bought into the moronic utopian woke messaging and put real hard cash into a business that is guaranteed to fail.

    They never learn.

    1. Thank you. It’s just part and parcel of the disdain people have for teachers. It’s sad. Somehow I’m “woke” because I opened a business. Shaking my head.

  4. Hey , good luck to you. Just advertise a lot.

  5. ” We believe in creating a more sustainable earth for everyone and encourage everyone to add a little green to their lives.” – yeah, let’s cut acres of trees for toxic turf fields and let’s add a few succulents by the window while pumping body with covid boosters for better breathing. Sustainable my arse.

    1. I’m sorry. I’m not following this logic. I did those things?

  6. Lots of unhappy people on this site. Mean just because they can be.

She was a great French teacher and will be missed. She is also a lovely person if you get the opportunity to meet her. Best of luck in your new business Lauren!

    1. Thank you!

  7. Only Ridgewood residents could take a harmless online post about a plant shop opening up and turn it into personal insults, a commentary on the “poor education” their children receive in one of the top public school districts in the state, and a political statement…?

To all those in the comments here, respectfully… Get a life.

Good luck Deeply Rooted, I’m rootin‘ for ya!

    1. Thank you. Isn’t this crazy? There’s zero logic and zero facts, but everyone is entitled to their opinion, I suppose.
