NJ State Troopers and University Hospital Medical Personnel Rescue Stranded Jet-Skiers in Sea Isle

Sea Isle NJ , on Friday, June 25th, two troopers from the New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit and three medical staff members from University Hospital rescued two jet-skiers who were stranded in a muddy, marshy area in Sea Isle, N.J.
At approximately 3:00 p.m., troopers from the Marine Services Bureau were dispatched to the report of two stranded jet-skiers in a marsh in Sea Isle. Troopers from the Marine Bureau were unable to get to the stranded jet-skiers due to the receeding tide, so they requested assistance from the Aviation Unit.

A short time later, the pilots, Sergeant Jeffrey Dipple and Trooper I James Baranyay, along with University Hospital Flight Nurse Richard Harris, Flight Nurse Ryan Paynter, and Flight Paramedic Tracy Connellan arrived to assist with the rescue. While the pilots maintained a low hover, the flight staff helped the stranded jet-skiers onto the helicopter. The victims did not sustain any injuries.
The entire flight crew made an r outstanding effort: Sergeant Jeffrey Dipple, Trooper I James Baranyay, flight nurse Richard Harris, flight nurse Ryan Paynter, and flight paramedic Tracy Connellan.
