⁣For months, an exhaustive investigation took place at NJTPD. To identify, charge, and apprehend the actors responsible, a collaborative approach took place between the Patrol Division, the Intelligence Unit, and the Detective Bureau. As a result, a total of 6 actors were charged in relation to this incident. This includes 2 adults and 4 juveniles. They each face multiple serious offenses and were all charged by the end of 2022. ⁣
We share this update as a reminder to all; anyone who trespasses on NJ TRANSIT property, and anyone who threatens the safety of the system will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. ⁣
