Ridgewood NJ, NJ TRANSIT will resume rail service the morning of Thursday, December 17, operating on a Severe Weather Level 2 service schedule. Also, all bus, light rail and Access Link services will resume operating on a weekday schedule. We continue to urge customers to reserve travel for essential purposes only.
Rail
Service on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line, Raritan Valley Line and Atlantic City Rail Line will resume at 11am and operate on a Severe Weather Level 2 service schedule.
Service on the Morris & Essex, Montclair-Boonton, Main/Bergen, Pascack Valley and Port Jervis Lines will resume at noon on a Level 2 Severe Weather Schedule.
Bus
Bus Service will resume systemwide at noon today, giving local municipalities enough time to clear roads without our buses hampering those efforts.
South Jersey bus service operated through the service day Wednesday, December 16 and is currently operating as scheduled for Thursday, December 17.
Light Rail
Hudson-Bergen Light Rail will resume at 10AM
Newark Light Rail will resume at 11AM.
River LINE operated through the service day yesterday and is currently operating as scheduled.
Access Link
Access Link Service will resume systemwide at noon today.
Access Link Region 3 service in South Jersey operated through the service day yesterday and is currently operating as scheduled today.
Systemwide Cross-Honoring in Effect on December 17: To give customers additional travel options during the storm recovery, NJ TRANSIT will offer full systemwide cross-honoring for the entire service day on Thursday, December 17, enabling customers to use their ticket or pass on an alternate travel mode—light rail or bus—including private bus carriers.
