Glen Rock NJ, Glen Rock Police and NJ Transit Police detectives are investigating the death of an individual who was struck by a NJ Transit Hoboken bound, Bergen Line train at the Boro Hall, Glen Rock train station. The incident was reported to have occurred at 9:22 am on Wednesday, 06/08.
These photos seem a bit insensitive. This man leaves behind a family. Have compassion for them. May he rest in peace.

Do you have similar complaints when The NY Times publishes photos of the war tragedies in the Ukrain? Get over yourself.
I don’t think too many people in Ukraine are reading the NY Times right now. Hyper-local news like story will be seen by family and friends. I had a family members accidental death splashes all over News Channel 12 and the Bergen Record and even now, years later, I am horrified by the pictures I saw.
So then, do you propose banning the photography of all things tragic?
Then DON’T read the articles that you can clearly not handle. That’s like going to a horror movie and then complaining about how traumatizing and scary it was. Smh people are WAY to sensitive and self centered about their feelings. You say people from Ukraine aren’t reading the news paper… I kinda doubt this family last thought is what the record is reporting on.
And yes – it’s just like

Crap happens, even to the nicest of families. The media should not be restricted from reporting when crap happens. First Amendment rights of the press should be respected.
Insensitive pictures? I tell you what’s insensitive, this attention-seeking asshole who decided to end his life in this way. I bet that train engineer got a real kick out of ploughing into him. There are dozens of ways to commit suicide without affecting others.
What a horrible thing to say.
No, it’s the right thing to say. Killing one’s self in that way is selfish, and his soul deserves no comfort for what he is causing that innocent engineer and train crew to endure now, and in the future and in their dreams.
You clearly no nothing about depression. Maybe educate yourself a bit. You’ll be a better person and the world will be a better place.
BAN ALL TRAINS
If it could save one life….
