Paramus NJ, over the last we the Ridgewood blog has run story after story on the issues facing New Jersey’s nursing homes and in particular the Paramus Veterans Home. We pulled this off a Facebook group page and thought it was a very good cause, helping those who served:

The Paramus Veterans Home relies on donations to fill holiday bags so that each resident will receive a gift during the holiday season. Many of their residents do not have a family, so this gift is the only present they will receive.

Fyi… some things are noted by Amazon that its not known when they’ll be available again… perhaps the list could be revisited to list alternate selections in place of those items still in need yet no longer available.

I went online and it comes up as 1 Veterans Way, not Drive. Also when I went to checkout it suggested 1 veterans way. Can someone clarify?
Thank you for sharing this! I just ordered some things off this wish list but wanted to alert you that it might need to be updated to reflect items that have already been purchased (it doesn’t seem to be reflecting a change in qtys even after I ordered). You may also want to consider adding more items to it. I’m sure there are many things that are needed/wanted and I don’t want you to receive a bunch of duplicates.

You could have it set up to send directly to The Veterans home.

Count did not change when I put items in my cart. Does Amazon advise what is coming as one item may not be there before Christmas.
