Sixteen-year-old musical prodigy Owen Smith will present piano solos by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann and Brahms at the Ridgewood Public Library

Ridgewood NJ, Owen is 16 years old, an honor student at the Manhattan School of Music pre college, lives in Demarest, Bergen County, goes to Bergen Catholic High school. Owen started to play piano at 5, and has studied at Manhattan School of Music Pre College since he was 9 years old. He was the prize winner of Piano Concerto Competition at Manhattan School of Music, and was past prize winner of New York and New Jersey Piano teachers association, past prize winner of International Grand Piano competition. Piano solo pieces of Bach, Beethoven, Chopin Schumann, and Brahms.

Ridewood NJ, the Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra’s annual spring fundraiser is back after a two-year hiatus. Please come and celebrate the orchestra’s musicians and its mission of offering beautiful music close to home. There will be wine, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, a silent auction and music will be performed by RSO musicians.
