Mrs. Beatrice was an award-winning teacher who shared her passion for American history and civic engagement in three different North Jersey towns, including Ridgewood and Hawthorne, before becoming a celebrated fixture at Mahwah High School.

Mahwah NJ, the Bergen County community is mourning the loss of a remarkable educator who left an indelible mark on generations of students. Yvonne Beatrice, affectionately known as “Mrs. Beatrice,” passed away on November 1st at the age of 73 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
