Ridgewood NJ, candidate petitions to run for election as a Village Councilmember are available in the Village Clerk’s Office, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There are two open positions on the Village Council, which are up for election at the November 8, 2022 General Election. A minimum of 192 valid Nominating Petitions must be filed to secure a place on the ballot. Each Petition must be signed by one registered voter of the Village of Ridgewood, and each voter may only sign two petitions. Petitions must be filed in the Office of the Village Clerk before 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
