Ridgewood NJ, at the November 18th BOE meeting RHS Social Studies Teacher Freddie LaFemina spoke about this workshop that utilizes original case studies on American history that are specifically created for the classroom, allowing for an understanding of both the case study method and a deeper knowledge about American history. and Civics. Interesting idea , but the kids still have to understand the basics in order to have the ability to discuss various ideas and look at events in the proper perspective . Without back ground facts these sessions can easily turn in to BS sessions . Aside from the fact that the process can easily manipulated and one sided .
