New Brunswick NJ, Interim Phase 1/2a data were published today in the New England Journal of Medicine demonstrating that the Company’s single-dose investigational COVID-19 vaccine candidate (JNJ-78436735) – being developed by the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson – provided an immune response that lasted for at least 71 days, the duration of time measured in this study in participants aged 18-55 years. A preview of part of these interim data was posted on medRxiv in September 2020.

Say If Business Workers Can Serve Customers from Behind Protective Screens, So Can Public Sector Workers

Trenton NJ, As New Jersey’s unemployment crisis closes in on two months, Senator Michael Testa and Senator Michael Doherty called for Governor Murphy to reopen New Jersey’s One-Stop Career Centers and staff them with idle workers from other State departments.

“A functional unemployment office during an economic downtown is the the epitome of an essential public service, yet hundreds of thousands of New Jerseyans continue to go without the unemployment benefits they’ve earned for weeks on end,” said Testa (R-1). “We are calling for an end to busy signals, broken websites, and unanswered emails from the Department of Labor.”

Ridgewood Board of Education Takes No Action on OPRA Lawsuit Settlement Offer

Ridgewood NJ, The BOE discussed a litigation item in Executive Session Thursday evening that concerns a settlement proposal of a lawsuit against the Board by Saurabh Dani, a candidate for the Board of Education in next week’s election. 

This settlement proposal was not sought by the Board and originated with Mr. Dani’s attorney.
