Old Tappan NJ, in what can only be characterized as a blatant disregard for both a historical site and an environmental treasure an assisted living facility planned for a tree-filled tract of land on Old Tappan Road is moving forward, over the objections of environmentalists and historians, who say the development threatens wetlands, local wildlife and a nearly 300-year-old home on the property.
