Northfield NJ,  at a law and public safety forum, Assembly candidate and former Deputy Attorney General Claire Swift was joined by gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli to discuss the rising crime rate across the 2nd Legislative District. These growing concerns have forced local governing bodies to take action, most notably Atlantic City has enforced curfews to thwart the increasingly lawless behavior, especially among juveniles, that is driving down tourism, hurting small businesses and preventing families from feeling safe in some of the shore communities.

Trenton NJ, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy says he wasn’t thinking about the Bill of Rights when he issued social distancing orders to stem the spread of the coronavirus.

“That’s above my pay grade, Tucker,” Murphy said Wednesday on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” “So, I wasn’t thinking of the Bill of Rights when we did this. We went to all — first of all — we went to the scientists who said people have to stay away from each other.”
