Hackensack NJ, A multi-month investigation into the Hackensack Police Department has resulted in the arrest of an officer accused of forging military documents to collect thousands of dollars in unearned pay.

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 31-year-old Forrod Bonsu on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The charges follow a collaborative investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office Confidential Investigations Unit and the Hackensack Police Department’s Professional Standards Unit.
