Hache spoke to the students at Bergen County Technical High School at the Teterboro Campus for Hispanic Heritage Month. Commissioner Ramon M. Hache spoke to your students about his Hispanic heritage and shared the story of my journey as an immigrant. Hache spoke to them from the heart about the difficulties of arriving in the U.S. without knowing any English, the opportunities, the sacrifices made by my parents, the impact of the values and culture on his career in the private sector and how I came to public office later in life.
