Four Charged in Year Long Edgewater Armed Robbery Investigation

Edgewater NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of 24-year-old JULIO A. PEREZ of North Bergen, NJ; 21-year-old JUSTIN L. ACOSTA of Charles Town, WV; and 23-year-old KENNY M. VEGA of West New York, NJ on charges stemming from an armed robbery in Edgewater, NJ. Additionally, Prosecutor Musella announced charges against 21-year-old JADEN A. VAZQUEZ of Guttenberg, NJ. These arrests and the charges filed in this matter are the result of a year-long investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Edgewater Police Department, under the direction of Chief Donald Martin.

Five Men Charged in Armed Carjacking and Robbery in Edgewater

Edgewater NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of DUSTIN ROBALINO (DOB: 06/10/2004; single; unemployed) of 108 Kennedy Boulevard, Bayonne, NJ; GILBERTO ROMAN (DOB: 12/22/2003; single; unemployed) of 5 Monroe Avenue, Carteret, NJ; WILKINS FURMENT (DOB: 11/10/2003; single; caterer) of 456 Tonnelle Avenue, Jersey City, NJ; JIMMY RUIZ (DOB: 01/22/2005; single; unemployed) currently incarcerated at Hudson County Jail; and GIANCARLO RODRIGUEZ (DOB: 10/11/1997; single; self-employed disc jockey) of 354 6th Avenue, Paterson, NJ, on charges of carjacking, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit carjacking, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, aggravated assault by pointing a firearm, and theft. The arrests are the result of a joint investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Edgewater Police Department under the direction of Chief Donald Martin.
