Anti-icing prep sprayed on the roads, plows out before the storm ends, All wheel drive, Advanced Compound Radial Winter Tires, Antilock brakes, Special “snow and sand” mode, 10 speed automatic transmissions, cylinder deactivation systems, collision avoidance systems, hill descent control and many, many other automotive babysitters…
.
…and still I probably drove better in the snow in my youth with my V8 powered, rear wheel drive car on bias (non snow) tires than most drivers today with all the special aids and assists.

It’s the northeast; its winter; it’s a snowstorm; it’s really not a big deal.
