Jersey City NJ, Two New Jersey men were charged, and another previously pleaded guilty, for participating in a kickback scheme to defraud the owner of a condominium complex in Jersey City of $470,000, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced today.

Waldwick Contractor Admits Role In Scheme With Former Municipal Utilities Authority Commissioner To Steal Funds And Pay Kickbacks

Waldwick NJ, A Paterson-based contractor today admitted conspiring with a commissioner of the now-defunct Paterson Municipal Utilities Authority (MUA) to steal funds and pay kickbacks in return for obtaining work from the authority, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.

Anthony Cacciola, 47, of Waldwick, New Jersey, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Kevin McNulty to an information charging him with one count of conspiracy to commit extortion under color of official right.
