As you ran the route, Emergency Services Volunteers and their equipment were stationed strategically to quick response. At the finish line, there was a huge cadre of responders in their safety vests awaiting the runners. Travel is an incredible life experience, but pre-flight time can be mentally draining.

However, it doesn’t have to be that way– here are 10 terrific tips to get your positivity flowing before you jet off.

  1. Research

An element of surprise can be nice, but ultimately, it pays to be prepared. If you’re planning to travel in style and comfort, consider Indianapolis Private Jet services for chartering a jet. With the convenience and luxury they offer, you can focus on your journey while avoiding common travel hassles. So, do plenty of research on your chosen destination, and with the right charter option, you’ll know what to expect and can plan solutions to any possible problems you might face.

  1. Check-in online

Give yourself one less thing to worry about at the airport by checking in online in advance of your flight. With more time and less admin tasks, you can focus your mind on the exciting times ahead.

  1. Mindfulness

Mindfulness involves being more aware of the present moment by focusing attention to your thoughts, feelings and senses. It’s a great way to help you feel more in control and actively enjoy your travel time. For more information about mindfulness, have a look at the NHS website.

  1. Music

Find a relaxation playlist (or create your own) on a music streaming platform like Spotify and listen to it on your way to the airport. Surrounded by relaxing rhythms and soothing symphonies, you’ll be raring to go!

  1. Get a good night’s sleep

No matter what time your flight is, try to get a good sleep beforehand, so that you can wake up revitalized and raring to go. With bucket loads of energy at your disposal, you’ll feel nothing but enthusiasm for the journey ahead.

  1. Dress comfortably

When you’re traveling, you should opt for light and comfortable clothing. Also, wear lots of thin layers rather than a few heavy items,so that you can easily adjust to the temperatures in the airport and on the plane.

  1. Meditation

Meditation works wonders by helping to keep your mind and calm and clear. So download a meditation app such as headspace and find the inner peace and balance you need for stress-free travel.

  1. Go with the flow

There’s only so much you can control when you’re traveling, so when faced with long airport queues and flight delays, just go with the flow. Simply embrace unexpected events as part of the travel experience.

  1. Relax at the airport

US airports are equipped with fantastic facilities designed to enhance your customer experience. So treat yourself to a spa massage, or watch some TV in the airport lounge – whatever gets your positive vibes going.

  1. Drive to the airport

The unpredictable nature of public transportation can wreak havoc with your mind, so plan your route, give yourself plenty of time and drive to the airport. For early-bird deals on US airport parking for locations from Denver to Dallas, sites such as Looking4.com have got you covered.
