GLEN ROCK, NJ – The commitment to delivering pristine water in Bergen County hit a major milestone on Thursday. Ridgewood Water held a ceremonial groundbreaking at the site of the new Main PFAS Treatment Facility in Glen Rock, signaling the start of construction on a project that will significantly upgrade the local water infrastructure.

Ridgewood NJ, thanks to the hard work of former Mayor Susan Knudsen in March of 2022 the Village of Ridgewood was approved for a direct grant in 2022 in the amount of $2,800,000 from the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) .
