Ridgewood Sued Over Affordable Housing Plan After Council Rejects Senior Living Proposal

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — September 2025 — The Village of Ridgewood is facing a new lawsuit from Kensington Senior Development and the Fair Share Housing Center after the Village Council voted down a zoning overlay that would have allowed a 125-bed assisted living facility on North Maple Avenue.
