Ridgewood NJ, Monday, May 25th – In observance of Memorial Day to remember those who died in military service , Village Hall will be closed and sanitation and recycling pick up will be suspended on Monday May 25, 2020, The Recycling Center will also be closed.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH – EAST SIDE SANITATION COLLECTION
Ridgewood NJ, Wednesday, February 15th – Residents of the East Side are required to bring their sanitation to the end of their driveways (near the curb but not in the street) for collection due to the snow and ice conditions. This is for the safety of our sanitation workers. If you are a senior citizen or need assistance, please call the Sanitation Office at 201/670-5585 and they will respond.
Recycling Collection will be Area 6 – as is printed in the calendar.
Holiday Schedule for Village Offices and Sanitation & Recycling Pick Ups
Due to the holiday season, Village offices will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, December 24, 25, 2015.
Village offices will also be closed for New Year’s Day, January 1, 2016.
Recycling Center, E. Glen Ave. will be open 12/24, 26th . It will be closed 12/25/2015 and 1/1/2016
Sanitation/Recycling pick up will take place December 24, but not December 25 or January 1.
Sanitation and Recycling Adjusted Schedule Due to Weather
Sanitation/Bulk Pick-Up: We announced last week that we would be doing bulk pick up on both east and west sides this Wednesday. We are going to add curbside garbage pick-up on the west side to the bulk pick-up already planned for Wednesday. This will make up for those on the west side who did not get their garbage collected today – please place your garbage at the end of your driveway with your bulk items in order that it may be picked up.
For today east side garbage pick-up, please place your garbage at the end of your driveway for guaranteed pick-up. If the path to the refuse containers are free of snow and ice, we will attempt rear yard pick-up. Recycling: Yesterday recycling area 5 is currently underway with a skeletal crew so please be prepared for delays but our intention is to get it all picked up. Early reports from our crews indicate that many homes have not put out their recycling. Recycling area 6 should be business as usual today.
