Gordon Moore was an American engineer and entrepreneur who co-founded Intel Corporation, one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies. He is best known for his observation, known as “Moore’s Law,” that the number of transistors on a microchip doubles approximately every two years, leading to exponential growth in computing power.
