Fair Lawn, NJ – A routine Tuesday afternoon took a dramatic turn at a local bank branch as Fair Lawn Police Department patrol officers foiled an attempted fraud, leading to one swift arrest and a manhunt for a second suspect.
The incident occurred late Tuesday afternoon, October 7, at a TD Bank branch on Maple Avenue in Fair Lawn. Authorities were alerted to an alleged attempt to cash a substantial fraudulent check totaling $7,000.
